I should have thought to take before and after photos, but I’m very satisfied with the results of this product. I live in Colorado and the sun gets very intense here. Unfortunately, I also bought a black car and about once a year, it gets these very bad oxidation spots. I had no idea what it was at first, but when I had these guys come out to detail it one day, they told me it was oxidation. It looked like dull parts of paint had acquired water spots on it (like when you have dried water spots on glasses, but these didn’t come off, obviously). Last year, it cost me about $75-80 to have it buffed out, but this year, all I had to do was wash my car and apply this stuff and honestly, this stuff made it look MUCH better than the detailing job did.
I’ll definitely keep this product on hand in case it starts to get this bad again. The bottle is fairly small as most other reviewers have said. I only needed it for the trouble spots, which were my hood, the driver’s side from the door up to the front headlights and the trunk. The whole left side was fine. I used about 1/5 of the bottle, so if I’m able to get 4 or 5 uses out of one bottle, I’d say it was worth it.

I don’t know what is in this bottle, but it worked on my husband’s car. I washed it, dried it, and applied a layer of this to all the areas of concern. I then went back over the areas that I missed. We plan to re-apply this again in a few days, and we will then do a coating of wax on the car. I will re-post how long it lasts before you need to re-apply it. It doesn’t look perfect, but we weren’t looking for perfection. We wanted the chipping topcoat to less obvious, and we weren’t willing to spend thousands of dollars to fix the paint.

I was shocked when I saw the size of the bottle. I mean it’s small. Cough medicine comes in a bigger bottle. I did the bad areas on my car and it didn’t take much and worked very well. I had tried may other products that did absolutely nothing and this stuff actually worked. So if you have to do your whole car you may need 2 bottles. It is worth the money because it works well and does what a it says it does. It’s been 4 or 5 months and still looks good on my car.

The sun faded our boat and we tried everything to get the color back, we thought we were going to have to get it painted. I came across this amazing product and put it aside til the weather warmed up. My husband came across it and said what’s this for and I said the boat, he picked it up and was going to throw it out. He said nothing is going to help that boat. So I decided to give it a try and I was in shock. My husband couldn’t believe it. He said let’s see when it dries. Well it dried perfectly and brought the boat back to new. We love this. So far it’s been on there for 3 months and still looks new.
This is the second time I have purchased this product because I was so impressed with the results the first time. My husband and I both drive older vehicles that we were almost embarrassed to be seen in, just because of the oxidation and clear coat starting to peel on them. I happened to see a video about this product on Youtube and thought I would give it a try. I am a little skeptical about buying “quick fix” items because a lot of the time it promises more than what it delivers. This was not the case with Oxide Off.
I followed the directions exactly and was amazed with the results. It was very easy to apply and it goes a long ways. With one bottle I was able to do my car twice and our Durango once. On one 2 ounce bottle!
As advertised, this product will not look like a professional glossy paint job, but it will make your vehicle look so much better. I am so glad I tried this product and I highly recommend it. It does exactly what it claims to do. Now, instead of feeling ashamed of how my vehicle looks I drive it with pride and people look at it because it is so shiny and well kept and not because of the oxidation.

I am finally no longer mortified to drive my Jeep Liberty. The clear coat was peeling and I was getting estimates for $2,000-$5,000 to paint it. The car is old and I was not looking to spend that much. This bottle was worth $30. Not perfect, but it looks so much better. Careful when sanding before hand. I will purchase again in a few months to re-apply. So happy.

Holy wow! I came across this product while I was searching for something unrelated. We have a 1993 Honda that has seen lots of sun. I ordered this, expecting it to do next to nothing. I couldn’t have been more wrong! Of course it doesn’t bring the paint back to new, but it definitely spiffed up the pinkish white back to a more-like-red!
Awesome product! I was so tired of seeing my beloved 2007 Hyundai Tiburon looking so old and defeated with the oxidation on the hood, roof and back spoiler. It was an embarrassment to be seen driving it. Granted she is an old gal with almost 300K in mikes driven but the years of her having been parking outside in the hot desert sun have definitely taking its toll.
I researched everything I could find on how to remove the oxidation . I didn’t think the expense of having her repainted would be worth it . My husband didn’t think much could be done. He was very wrong. I order the OxideOff. I was aware the bottles themselves were very small. I followed the directions that the product posted on their website and in a couple hours the results were amazing. My husband was totally surprised at the outcome. Overall I used maybe about 1/4 of the bottle. I Plan to do a second coat after it cures for about 48 hrs.

The hood on my FJ was pretty badly oxidized. I got repaint prices just for the hood of $1000. I applied one coat of the oxide reducing emulsion and it has improved the look dramatically.
Like the directions say a little goes a long way. It was extremely easy to apply.
Saved me the $1000 hood paint job for now.

Use it as per the instructions, and you will be amazed. At first I couldn’t believe something in such a small bottle could be so powerful, in reducing paint oxidation. I know, I know, this sounds like I’m some kind of a paid promoter– but no, in the spirit of full disclosure, I’m just a Very satisfied customer.
I’ve got a 25-year-old Ford Escort wagon in dark blue, the paint on which had been oxidized by the South Texas sun. After using Oxide Reducing Emulsion, I could just about shave in my reflection in the paint. Yes, it’s that good.

Works Great – I rarely leave reviews but this stuff really works. You might have to apply about 2 coats to get a good coverage, but it is definitely worth it.
I did the hood and the headlights – the headlights were very yellow or opaque and I wish I would have taken a before picture. I would like to add that I was a little skeptical when I saw how small the bottle was, but a little goes a long way

Primo, I have a 2004 X3 which had substantial clear coat flaking on the hood and top. I wondered if there was some wonder elixir that would solve my problems. I watched several online videos about this to-good-to-be-true product so I figured I’d give it a shot. I have to say that I was amazed. This product does exactly what it says it will do. It made my BMW quite presentable.
And keep in mind that I live in Phoenix where the sun can be quite brutal.
